VSI

Vendor Single Interest

VSI is a blanket vendor's single interest policy written to cover a lender's complete vehicle portfolio. It protects against the risk to certain loan collateral where the borrower has failed to secure and maintain required insurance coverage.

GAP

Guaranteed Auto Protection

GAP insures the difference between the outstanding balance of a customer’s loan or lease and the amount of the primary insurance coverage if the vehicle is damaged beyond repair or is stolen and not recovered.

CPI

Creditor Placed Insurance

CPI is a single or dual interest collateral protection program for lenders. It protects lenders against loss on automobiles or other personal property pledged as collateral, in cases where the borrower has failed to secure or maintain required insurance coverage.

EPD

Equipment Physical Damage

EPD is an all risk policy written to cover agricultural, construction, lawn and commercial equipment vehicles. EPD is offered as a voluntary point-of-purchase program designed to be an easy way to protect financed equipment purchases.
